Meet Our Founders!

Yogeshwaran Poovendran, the co-founder behind Nourisher, is an AMI-certified Montessori practitioner and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience building Montessori learning environments across India. With a background in engineering and corporate stints at Accenture and Honeywell, he brings a rare analytical rigour to the world of early childhood — one that complements deep Montessori conviction. His journey from engineer to educator has given him a unique lens: understanding not just what children need, but designing the systems that make it accessible. Through Nourisher, Yogeshwaran wants to ensure that every Indian family has access to toys and books that are both Montessori-aligned and rooted in Indian culture — building the right environment for a child's holistic growth from the very first day.
